Welcome

The journey of personal healing, like the arrival of a new moon, can feel uncertain, unknown and even dark. Just on the other side of that is the promise and energy of a new beginning and a knowing that we will shine brightly once again.

My offerings of holistic, person-centered mental health therapy and yoga therapeutics provide support and connection while navigating difficulty, so you can feel more free to be your true self and more open to embrace the next cycle of your life.

My Approach

There is a common belief throughout life and therapy that we shouldn't have to struggle—or that if we do, there’s something wrong with us and we need to fix it.

It is my belief that, just because you are struggling, it doesn’t mean there is anything “wrong” with you that needs “fixing.” There is value in our darkness and our light. My approach to this sacred inner work is inclusive, holistic, and integrated, focusing on the whole person—mind, body, and soul.

How I can help

Through working together, my goal is that you become more curious about your experiences, patterns, and choices—and how these things affect you. Together, we’ll create a safe space for you to be heard and experience greater self-awareness and understanding.

You will come away with:

  • An ability to self-regulate and better articulate your feelings/wants/needs;

  • Healthier relationships;

  • A stronger sense of connectedness and purpose;

  • A sense of integration and wholeness within yourself and the world around you.

I’m Amber Bergman

(LMHC, RYT-300, SHE/HER)

I believe that human connection is the life breath of our society. Along the path of our life’s journeys, we inevitably fall out of connection with others, and at times ourselves. It can be hard and scary to find our way back to ourselves, to find the light in the dark. It is in these darkest moments that we must remember—we are not alone. I have been a practicing psychotherapist and mental health professional for over 20 years. It is a high honor to witness another’s transformation, and I am deeply grateful to have been called to do this work.
